South Indian superstar Rajinikanth on Tuesday declared the results of the Lok Sabha elections as a victory for one person specially, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi). Congress President Rahul Gandhi taking responsibility for the defeat of the party, he should not resign his post. Talking to reporters here, Rajinikanth said that the victory in the general elections of the year 2019 has only been made by Modi (PM). Rajinikanth also said that after Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, “Modi is a charismatic leader who draws peoples attention.
He further said that there was an anti-Modi wave in Tamil Nadu and due to the campaign against various industrial projects which are being planned, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was defeated in the state. According to him, Rahul Gandhi should not resign from his post. Rajinikanth said that during the election, Rahul Gandhi himself fought firmly and did not leave any stone unturned. But senior Congress leaders did not work in coordinated manner. He said that he will be attending the new government’s swearing in ceremony in Delhi.
Rajinikanth replied in response to Rahul Gandhi’s resignation, “He should not resign.” He said, “I do not say that they do not have the qualities of leadership. I think it is really difficult to handle the Congress party where there are many senior people. “The Tamil superstar said that Gandhi does not need to resign because opposition party is also important in democracy.
